Nippon Marine's Saganoseki Branch handles the transportation of nonferrous products and byproducts from, and auxiliary raw materials to, the JX Metals Smelting Logitech Co., Ltd. in Oita Prefecture in Kyushu (a member of the JX NMM Group), one of the world's leading producers of copper products. In addition, the Branch also handles the transportation, storage, and cargo handling for recycling of materials produced as byproducts of copper smelting.
The Branch plays an important role in transportation operations in the Kyushu and Seto Inland Sea areas.
The staff at the Branch also engage in shipping agency services, as well as customs clearance and barge operations at Saganoseki Port.
