Freight transportation between Japan and Southeast/East Asia
The Chemical & Overseas Division engages in the coastal and near-sea transportation of liquid chemicals, and the overseas transportation of general freight. Liquid chemicals such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid are carried in dedicated tankers between Japanese ports, while sulfuric acid is transported to ports in China and Taiwan.We also transport general cargo to Southeast Asia and import lumber from Papua New Guinea. Nippon Marine also offers its own container ship for service on Japan-China routes.
