The operation of tramp freighters (trampers) has been the Company’s core business ever since its foundation. Our Tramper Section now operates a highly efficient fleet of general-purpose cargo vessels and specialized carriers.Covering the whole of Japan, we transport a wide range of materials, including nonferrous metals, steel, limestone, petroleum coke, plaster, and fertilizers.
In response to the rising tide of concern over environmental issues, we contribute to environmental preservation efforts in Japan through our transportation of materials for recycling, including copper slag and other copper products, wood chips, RDF (refuse-derived fuel) and RPF (refuse paper and plastic fuel), as well as contaminated soil.
